Catching Up...

The kids have been in the pool constantly this summer!

Mike was at a conference a couple weeks ago... my bed got much smaller!

Jake got the worst ear infection. He has swimmers ear and an ear infection!!! It was so swollen that the ear drops couldn't get down far enough to actually work. Last Friday we had to take a trip to the ENT. That was an awful appointment. The ENT sucked the fluid out of his ear which made Jake start screaming. Then Sophie was crying because she felt so bad for him. BUT we are on the mend and had a follow-up appt this morning - he said it's 80% better!

Jake took a picture of the ENT office so everyone would know what it looks like!

Yesterday we headed downtown to stop at the library and play in the fountain!

Kids had a blast!

Jake was asleep by 7:00 last night!

Catching up...

Here's what we've up to the last few weeks...

Sophie ended up getting strep again - right before the last week of school!!

She made it for half of the last day of school but came home at lunch... she was worn out!

Luckily she was better by the end of the week so we could meet the newest member of the family!!

Everyone wanted to hold Holly but I didn't let go of her for very long!!

We did sneak out to the mall for a little bit and grabbed some bath bombs!

There have been lots of softball games! Linda and I are battling for Sophie's #1 Fan!

I cleaned the carpets. This was the water from Sophie's room. YUCK!

We had another visit with the Pfohl family.

The cousins love hanging out together!

Baby yawns are too cute.

Of course Holly smiled when she saw me. I'm her favorite!!

Phone stealer!

Jake had his first tball game this week - he loved being on the same team as buddies!

It's always good to end a post with a picture of Mike sleeping... these two fell asleep watching tv!!

Preschool Graduation

Jake graduated from preschool a few weeks ago and did a great job at the ceremony!!! They ask the kids what they want to be when they grow up in front of the whole crowd (about 200 people) and Jake was a rock star!!! Jake had such a fantastic year at Creation Kids - we've seen such a change in him since the beginning of the year. It was so sad to say goodbye to Ms. Kara but kindergarten here we come!

Jake and Tony. These two are inseparable. They are preschool buddies and neighbors. They are constantly running back and forth between houses leaving a mess behind them!

Ms. Kara - she's the best!
